Choreography
SWORDPLAY
specialise in creating exciting choreography for productions
ranging from amateur dramatic performances to feature films.
We work closely with the director, the actors and the script,
to ensure a fight scene that is true to the performance, the
character and within the skill set of the actor. Through focusing
on principles of biomechanics, footwork, balance and eye contact
we find actors learn far quicker than normal, and that we
can create fantastically exciting, natural and realistic fight
scenes in a matter of days. Our choreography can currently
be seen in current theatrical tours, on cruise ships and in
up and coming 2008 Christmas productions!
Cost:
To enable all those interested to study and perform stage
combat our price system for choreography is structured based
on the tour length and nature of the performance. Hence an
amateur dramatic company will be charged less than a professional
film company. Our minimum charge is £200 per day.

Consultancy
SWORDPLAY
can provide historical and combat consultants for any period
or combat style. We have a variety of professional historians,
martial artists, and ex soldiers who can give you the precise
and specialised information and guidance you need.
